Red Robin Gourmet Burgers, the casual dining company that serves up wholesome, fun, feel-good experiences by offering its guests an imaginative selection of high-quality gourmet burgers and innovative menu items in a family-friendly environment, marked the third anniversary of its initial public offering by opening the NASDAQ stock market this morning. The company also is celebrating its distinction as “Chain of the Year” by Restaurant Hospitality. 

CEO Mike Snyder appeared on CNBC Squawk Box to discuss Red Robin’s impressive growth and stock performance. Red Robin executives and team members joined Snyder to ring the opening bell at NASDAQ to mark the start of the trading day.

To further celebrate and share its “Unbridled” culture — the Red Robin way of going above and beyond to do something special for people — the company provided summer-time relief to tourists and commuters in Times Square. Red Robin team members set up a Freckled Lemonade stand outside of NASDAQ’s offices and served its signature beverage “Freckled Lemonade,” lemonade with fresh strawberries, for free. In addition, Red Robin distributed 1,000 pre-paid metro cards for New Yorkers to use on the bus and/or subway.
