Amy Henry and Nick Warnock from 'The Apprentice' Kiss to Celebrate the Launch of Hershey's Kisses Filled with Caramel at NYC's Empire State Building Did they share a kiss or didn't they? Last night at the top of the Empire State Building, Amy Henry and Nick Warnock from "The Apprentice" shared an amicable smooch in front of an oversized Hershey's Kisses filled with Caramel chocolate and revealed the "Top 10 Best Kisses in Film." Topping the list is Gone with the Wind's passionate kiss between Rhett Butler (Clark Gable) and Scarlett O'Hara (Vivian Leigh). The list was created to celebrate the pairing of smooth milk chocolate and creamy, luscious caramel together in wonderful new Hershey's Kisses filled with Caramel chocolate. To create the list, Hershey's Kisses partnered with Us Weekly and America's top movie houses to identify the Top 10 Best Kisses in Film. This memorable list was unveiled atop the Empire State Building, the scene of some of the most romantic kisses ever.
"Only a brand like Hershey's Kisses can bring Nick and Amy back together to help us honor the top ten best kisses in film and introduce new Hershey's Kisses filled with Caramel," said Don Gates, Director, Kisses, Hershey Foods Corporation. "Just as audiences love their favorite actors being paired in a kiss, fans will rave about chocolate and caramel coming together in a Hershey's Kisses chocolate. Putting the top two tastes in confectionery together is a natural for the Hershey's Kisses brand." Consumers of all ages will be wowed with the smooth and creamy experience delivered by the combination of chocolate and caramel. Dressed in a swirled chocolate brown and golden caramel-colored foil wrap, the traditional Hershey's Kisses plume reads "Caramel." The new Hershey's Kisses filled with Caramel are appearing on shelves at supermarkets, drugstores and mass merchandisers across the country. The product will retail for approximately $2.49 and $2.99, in 9.2-ounce and 12-ounce bags respectively. About Hershey's Kisses Chocolates Hershey's Kisses Brand Chocolates, a little product with a big future, were first introduced in 1907. While it's not known exactly how Hershey's Kisses got their name, it is a popular theory that the candy was named for the sound or motion of the chocolate being deposited during the manufacturing process. Milton S. Hershey, the corporation's founder, established a registered trademark for the "plume" extending out of the wrapper in 1924. A registered trademark for the configuration of Hershey's Kisses is their familiar foil wrap established in 1976. Hershey Foods Corporation (NYSE:HSY) is the leading North American manufacturer of quality chocolate and non-chocolate confectionery and chocolate-related grocery products. Some of the company's most popular products include Hershey's milk chocolate and milk chocolate with almonds bars, Hershey's Kisses chocolates, Reese's peanut butter cups, Jolly Rancher and Twizzlers candies, Hershey's cocoa, and Hershey's syrup. The company also is a market leader in the gum and mint category with such well-known brands as Ice Breakers, Breath Savers, and Bubble Yum. For more information, visit www.hersheys.com |
