Trista Rehn and Evan Marriott It didn't take a rose or a jewel-studded necklace for KFC's front-man, Jason Alexander to propose that reality show superstars Trista Rehn and Evan Marriott share screen time with him in two upcoming commercial spots. Instead, it was the great taste of KFC's new Honey BBQ Boneless Wings - whole pieces of tender white breast meat, drenched in KFC's Honey BBQ Sauce - that grabbed the attention of America's favorite reality show superstars.
The two versions of the ad, created by BBDO New York, feature Alexander interacting with either Trista or Evan. While the two reality show stars were selective when choosing their guys or gals, in both ads it's obvious they crave the taste of the new Boneless Wings. Each ad ends with either Marriott or Rehn affirming their love for KFC Boneless Wings and Alexander adding comic commentary about the two reality TV stars' experiences. The :30 spots will air from March 17 through April 27 during popular primetime programming including "American Idol," "Friends" and "CSI." A condensed :15 version will air throughout the same time period. KFC Honey BBQ Boneless Wings, priced at $2.99 for 7 pieces and $7.99 for 20 pieces (plus tax), are available for a limited time only.
